A very warm welcome to The Robert Napier School. I am very proud to be the Head Teacher of The Robert Napier School and to be leading a school with huge potential. These are exciting times for the school and for the Beyond Schools Trust and I am delighted to be taking the school into the next chapter in its history.

I am determined to secure an outstanding future for the school and my aims are to build on the current strengths, develop a greater focus on enhancing the quality of teaching and learning, and take the school forward on a journey to outstanding in all areas. I am committed to working with the staff, students and the local community to transform learning, aspirations and opportunities for our students and in the community in which they live.

Working with our sponsor, Beyond Schools Trust, my aim is to ensure students have access to the best possible opportunities and experiences during their education, so that they can reach their full potential and are better prepared for the future. I very much share The Trust’s ethos around developing students as individuals and not just learners. We believe that every child matters and deserves a happy first class education. Everyone has hidden potential to be uncovered and nurtured and I strongly believe that together as a learning community we can unlock this potential.

At The Robert Napier School our students are at the heart of every decision. Everything we do is about ensuring their experiences at school help them develop into the best they can be in a caring, supportive environment with a strong pastoral structure at the centre of the school. We have high expectations and high aspirations for every one of our students and our vision is Learn. Believe. Achieve.
